Have you ever wondered how some bloggers and entrepreneurs can be so inspired, creative and motivated all the time? Successful entrepreneurs seem to have so much knowledge and come up with amazing content every day of the week. But how on earth do they manage to do that?
When I ran my previous blogs, I never felt like that. It was always a struggle to create plenty of new creative content and I certainly didn’t feel like I was very knowledgeable. After a few years of following other blogs and reading up on digital marketing, I became one. By accident. On my bike.
Here’s the story.
I started a new job where I was on my bike for two hours a day. First I listened to music, but that became pretty dull very soon. When I was looking for some audiobooks to listen to, I quickly discovered podcasts. This isn’t something we Belgians listen to a lot, so it was a bit of a discovery! An amazing discovery.
I found out that the answer to the question of how to become this type of blogger or entrepreneur is simply being resourceful & making sure to be inspired & influenced by the right people. And I don’t mean reading a book or two. I mean being influenced every single day.
When I started listening to blogger & entrepreneur podcasts, I got to know this whole new world of entrepreneurship where everyone had something amazing to share, and I become so freakin’ inspired.
The entrepreneur world
At first it felt like an entirely different world, but I was so intrigued by their lifestyle, their ideas and their purpose so I kept listening. And I tried out tons of different podcasts too. I slowly got used to hearing stories of entrepreneurs and how they became successful, that I actually started to believe it could happen to me too.
Listening to podcasts has been the one thing that changed my mindset from employee with a hobby blog as a creative outlet, to finding my purpose and being excited for life as an entrepreneur. I can’t stress enough how amazing and beneficial podcasts can be.
As I changed my hobby blog to a blog with a mission to go full-time, I kept listening to podcasts to fuel my mind. If you’re ever out of content ideas, podcasts are pure magic to get you inspired. Especially podcasts that interview lots of different successful entrepreneurs. It’s THE perfect way to get inspired, creative and never back down.
Pretty practical too!
You can listen to them while you’re driving, cooking, while you’re on your bike or walking… Thanks to podcasts (or audiobooks) you get to learn so much more than you would normally if you had to take the extra time to read a book.
Long story short: Here’s the list of podcasts that changed my life. I suggest you try one out and see what happens! 🙂 Oh and they’re all free, by the way.
